- Ingredients:
- 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
- 2 Smoked Sausage
- 1/2 Sweet Onion
- 1 TBsp Swamp Fire Seasoning
- 2 Cans of Allens Okra and Tomato
- 2 Cans of Chicken Broth
- 1/3 Cup Worchestshire Sauce
- 1 lb. Raw Shrimp
- 1/2 Cup of Brown Rice (If not instant must be cooked first)
- Rue:
- 1/3 Cup of Flour
- 1/4 Cup of Olive Oil
- Options:
- 1 Can Chicken Breast Meat
- 1 Can of Kidney Beans
- 1 Cup of Brown Rice
- 2 Stalks Celery (Caramelized)
Make rue a golden brown.
Caramelize Smoked Sausage and Onion in 1/4 cup Olive Oil, add everything but the shrimp. Simmer all this for 15-20 minutes.
Add Shrimp and simmer another 10-12 minutes (until Shrimp is cooked).
